Tecnika LAB is the new 5-axis interpolated cutting center specifically designed for processing natural and engineered stone, ceramic and ultra-compact materials fully meeting the very parameters – speed, accuracy, working strokes and software interface – required for all tasks connected to efficient slab fabrication encompassing trimming, de-tensioning cuts, mitering, multidirectional and curvilinear jobs, as well as inner cut-outs.
Advanced materials such as engineered stone, ceramic and other stone/granite/quartz derivatives are pushing forward the technological challenge making traditional bridge saws increasingly obsolete. Tecnika LAB comes with state-of-the-art technology to empower modern stone fabricators helping them to cope with the new materials characteristics delivering a specific machine-software package. X DRIVE is the DENVER technology for the 5 axis heads. It makes use of high-rigidity motor support fork and precision gear boxes with zero backlash. This technology is controlled by an extremely advanced software called TOOL CENTER POINT which simply and continuously manages tool movements ensuring extreme precision and fast positioning providing excellent finishes with less passes. All guides and sliding parts are suitably protected with an ABS guard (to guarantee lightweight, rustproof, soundproof, ergonomic and aesthetically pleasing result).
Optionally you can add PIGGY-BACK, an integrated system for machining with tools, it features an ATC (automatic tool change) electrospindle with ISO40 connection, vertically positioned next to the main motor for disc equipped with an additional attachment.

15 hp disc motor. or 17.5hp electro chuck (optional) for ISO40 cones, allows us to make drills in the cutting phase automatically, as well as multiple jobs using milling cutters (shower trays, writing, moldings, etc.).
Photocell barrier managed by the machine software for operator safety.
The machine software allows you to import files in .DXF format generated by other software.
Piece handling system through suction cups (X-Motion) for the movement of already cut pieces (optional), maximum use of the material in automatic work.
PIGGY-BACK: includes a powerful 4.5kw/6hp (S6) electrospindle, with adjustable speed up to 12000 rpm’s and rotating joint for internal lubrication of tools, served by a 9-position automatic tool change magazine. The operator can use small diameter tools to realize incremental milling, wire top, drip, through and blind holes, combined machining with disc for sink cut-outs, engravings, bas-reliefs and writing.
